Domain Transfers

Transfer your existing domain names from another registrar to PDM Business Services and start saving on domain renewal fees.

 

A domain transfer does not affect your web hosting or name servers (DNS) configuration in any way. 
The only difference you will notice is the lower price!
Transfers usually take 1-2 weeks to complete, and this process will not interfere with the operation of your web site.

NOTE: Transfers will be required to be confirmed by the E-mail address listed for the "Administrative Contact" for the domain name.
Please make sure you have access to this account.

Domain Names cannot be transferred if they are expired or with in 5 days of expiring.

Domain Names must be older than 60 days to transfer.

Transferring an existing domain to us:

You can transfer an existing domain name to us for use with our web hosting service free of charge.  To do this, you will need to contact the ISP or web hosting provider currently hosting your domain and ask that they have the DNS name servers changed to the following: 

NS1.LIVEDNS.CO.UK
NS2.LIVEDNS.CO.UK

You may also need the IP addresses for the above servers, and these are: 

213.171.192.250
213.171.193.250

If transferring an existing .uk domain name to us, you may also need to provide our IPS Tag.  This is: FASTHOSTS  (this tag should be given as shown in upper case).

Transferring a domain away from us: 

You are free to transfer your domain name away from us for use with a different provider at any time.  However, please note that we reserve the right to make a admin charge of £80.00. Please contact us with the new provider's DNS name servers and IPS Tag if it's a .uk domain.
